It was great seeing so many of you at our 2nd annual free community event. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the help of many and I would like to give special thanks to our main supporters : Shannex, Sobeys Bedford South, BMO, and Boom12 Communications.
Our feature ‘Taste of Bedford South’ restaurant alley was an absolutely delicious tasting feast with an incredible variety of food and coffee from Antoinette’s Cheesecakes, Beanville Coffee Roastery, Dejan’s European Bakery, Dhaba2 Bedford Restaurant, Nayya Pizza & Grill Restaurant, Turquaz Restaurant, Umai Sushi Restaurant, and Wing’n It Restaurant. Sobeys Bedford South and Boom12 Communications had our BBQ sizzling nonstop, not to mention, all the bags of chips and bottles of water to keep everyone hydrated.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Scott of Hatfield Farms and his amazing petting pen team of adorable animals who kept us all amused and entranced throughout the event. Scott really takes good care of his sweet little animals, and we appreciate his dedication and hard work, so that not only are we able to enjoy being with them, but so that they are so well loved.
A big shout out to the company HRM Mascots and Inflatables for the fun games and cotton candy bundles. They always know how to show us a good time.
Last but not least are the incredible volunteers and my staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes for many months leading up to the big day. Their enthusiasm and thoughtful attention to detail and to the community are above and beyond. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all next September at our 3rd annual Bedford South End of Summer Fest.
