The spring session of the Nova Scotia legislature began February 27th. I was proud to again introduce legislation that would establish an enforcement unit within Residential Tenancies.
I first introduced and tabled this legislation on October 20,2022 and then a second time on October 14, 2023.
This commonsense approach is supported by both landlords and tenants and would mean disputes are resolved faster, with less cost, and aggravation on both sides.
I am asking the government to take action on this and make a difference in the ongoing housing crisis.
